PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
DELIVERY CONTEXT
Holiday Inn Dandenong involved the repositioning and operational transformation of an existing hotel asset into a contemporary, internationally branded hospitality environment.
The project extended beyond refurbishment works to include hospitality planning, guest experience redevelopment, restaurant and bar expansion, meeting facilities, fitness amenities, procurement coordination, FF&E delivery, and full interior transformation aligned with Holiday Inn brand standards.
Working within an existing building environment required continuous coordination between design intent, procurement interfaces, construction sequencing, programme management, and operational hospitality requirements throughout the redevelopment process.
Interior design for the project was led by Elemental Infinity founder Genan Sijercic, focusing on the redevelopment of guestrooms and public environments into a contemporary Holiday Inn guest experience aligned with operational functionality, hospitality durability, and commercial delivery realities.
The design approach balanced refurbishment constraints, programme requirements, procurement practicality, and brand alignment while supporting a cohesive repositioning of the existing asset.
